Do we look to others for acceptance? Or are we accepted by someone higher than those we find ourselves with regularly? Do you ‘depend’ on others for acceptance? That can be tough if they feel the need to remind you of your mistakes and hold things against you. I’m here to tell you that we were born and accepted long before others decided to point out your faults. So this podcast will point to a book with some thoughts on how to view ourselves and who to listen to. Below it is a special letter for you from God.

ACCEPTED
My Beloved Daughter,
I know you want to be accepted by others, but I did not create you to fit in; I have given you the power to stand out by the way you live and love. You don’t have to bow down to peer pressure to become popular. You are set apart, and I have given you all you need to feel loved and accepted. I don’t want My daughter to waste another day being desperate for the approval of others; if you give in to that, you will lose sight of your true identity. I want you to be the one who not only feels secure in who you are, but who helps others find their acceptance in Me.

Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people,
but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.

TODAY’S DECISION:
Starting today . . . I will live for an audience of One – Christ alone! Never again will my priority be being accepted by those around me even when it compromises who I am in God. I am set apart, and I choose today to walk in my anointing, for walking in who I am in God will help those around me to walk in who they are in Christ.
