How To Have Peace Of Mind

peace of mind

We can have peace of mind

Peace of mind and You

Ever feel like you’re going to die? Without inspiration, peace in life is useless. Success philosophies teach strategies to make money, have more time, and gain freedom. But there are times when all those strategies don’t seem to work.

Peace  and Personal Experience

Divorce struck me hard and my peace was gone. I struggled for 3 years to overcome what I thought I should. Later, as I worked through fear I failed in several online business opportunities. Then I became inspired to write a book about my experiences.  In  ” Branding You The Brand New You“, I was inspired to share my story about almost got scammed on Match.com. Then I talk about some of the men I chatted with on Plenty of fish dating site. My photos and profile were complete and even more than other women’s profiles, which gave different impressions to various men. One guys comment was, “So you think you’re all that! You ought to take a look in the mirror!”.  My book tells the conclusion.   Overall, the dating sites gave me an idea of what single men were about. I did a lot of counseling them on their profiles and their mindset, as I was learning about it myself.  Through  spiritual inspiration and a desire to meet someone perfect for me, after 2 years of dating sites, I met a great guy offline. While at a business meeting for Pike County Builders Association, I followed up with those I met for work as a social media manager and website creator. He was one of those I emailed. And he returned an email response which made me reply again. The rest is a beautiful story for another book.  Life after divorce gets better and my peace of mind is being restored in that area.

Peace and Life

Without inspiration,  life stagnates.  Napoleon Hill shared these success strategies in his great book “Think And Grow Rich“. He addresses leadership and finding mentors that inspire.  Leadership principles teach the need for goals and dreams. They help give us a guide for satisfaction in our personal and family life, our employment and our business. Without knowing our own mind  and how to find things that inspire us, making use of drive and affect as a leader is limited or useless when peace is the goal. Combining self development strategies, learning how to set goals, and gather things that inspire spiritual perception, we can find true peace in life.

Peace of mind  and Satisfaction

When we begin in life, we want money and things. Time and  experience tells us there is more to having a satisfying life than goods alone. Many sacrifice peace in search of satisfaction through the accumulation of stuff. . Joe Vitale shares much in his book ” Zero Limits ”  about where to get that success consciousness without sacrificing peace of mind.

There is more to life than money but we all know that without money, we can have little of the things that make life easier and gives us opportunities to serve others, which is very satisfying.  Failure can be erased as new impressions, dreams and goals are formed when we gather around us those people and things that inspire us. Napoleon Hill shares how to have true peace in his book Grow Rich With Peace Of Mind.

Peace of mind begins when inspiration is soundly in place.

Top Tips On No Longer Being Pressured! Where Does Your Inspiration Come From?

Do You Allow Others To Genetically Modify YOU? Truth About Inspiration and Motivation. by Caryn Elizabeth on Mixcloud

What kind of inspiration gets you taking action?

I use to dislike listening to some people trying to inspire me. Why?  Because while they might have motivated me, they did not add inspiration to my life. I don’t know about you but true change happens naturally in me when the true intention of an inspirational person is to add value to my authentic self. Time tells the truth!

How do motivation and inspiration differ?

When I would go to my companies conferences, the energy in the room was very motivating. However, because of my mindset, I felt like I was competing for a place on stage. Yes, I love being on stage and saying something profound! Who wouldn’t?

If you don’t want to, perhaps you don’t feel like what you have to say is important enough to share. Or maybe you just don’t feel like sharing!

What form of inspiration motivates you?

Ever since I was little, I competed for attention in my family of 7 children. I gave up many times when my brothers would either get in trouble or get hurt. I on the other hand became quiet. I didn’t want to get hurt or get in trouble in order to get attention. I wanted the attention I got because of me being me! It was rare that I got noticed.

It was when I did well in Art and got an award that I’d get attention. It was when my parents got me involved in horseback riding that I got attention. I would have loved to continue in that but it ended way to early to suit me.

Unfortunately, I longed for inspiration and attention for the right reasons but I didn’t feel I got it the way I wanted it. When my parents had a party and they were all living it up, my parents would pressure me to play piano. I was so not proficient at playing and felt like that was NOT the way I wanted to get attention.

If I was asked to come over and share what I liked to do for fun, I may have been able to express that with proficiency but playing an instrument that I only learned a  short time before  was asking me to share my imperfections and I just couldn’t bear that! You see, I knew when I was good at something! Pressuring a child to do something is not inspirational but causes children to mistrust their parents with their value. As a parent, inspire your children by sharing with them personally the potential you see in them, in their smile, in the way they write or draw. Truth sets children free! Feeling free is very inspirational.

When I was a bit older and could really throw a baseball, if my mom or dad would have asked me to show them how well I could throw it, I totally would have felt the inspiration to become even better.

You see, the attention I wanted was validation of who I was, not what I did. In all of us, we long for validation. However, something grand occurred in me as an adult with many years of living. I realized that I didn’t want anyone who didn’t truly value me to share life with me.

The natural course of things went as follows.

  • I talk to you.
  • You get to know me.
  • I see if I can trust you.
  • You show me either yes or no.
  • I talk to you further if I feel good about you.
  • You then can share with me the things you see in me that are valuable.
  • I then decide whether I will receive your comments.

This is where I am in life.

  • I am inspired by those I can trust.
  • Those who have written books that tell me more about my value.
  • I like when I can decide for myself whether I will receive their inspiration.
  • If you want to motivate me, you better know me well.

Of course, when we’re at a party and we’re all hanging out, if you ask me to take a “shot” of something, most likely I won’t! I dislike being pushed.

The natural course of things goes as follows:

If there is alcohol at a party and I feel like having some, I will.

If not, I won’t!

Period!

End of story!

Who's Genetically Engineering YOU?

Who’s Genetically Engineering YOU?

You won’t inspire me! Why?

I have given license to people in the past who hurry me to make a decision or I will miss out on an opportunity. I no longer do that! They use “scarcity” as a mental tactic. The root of this technique leans on those who have a poverty mentality and is absolute deceit. I absolutely have experienced this and have learned something wonderful that has helped me eliminate the need to “rush” into absolutely anything unless I am truly and honestly inspired to do it. It came from the book “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace Waddles.

The universe doesn’t respond to your reality. It responds to your perception of reality. When you deliberately take an emotional journey, you offer a vibration that causes law of attraction to respond to you differently. Abraham Hicks

I cannot be motivated by pressure any longer.

I became free of this with knowledge I learned over time through books and resources I read.

I now record my inspirational moments and share the resources they come from. Many come from posters on Facebook. Some come from Mindset Daily calls. Others come when I’m on my Think and Grow Rich calls.

Gone are the days of ignorance and excuses. I will not allow anyone to genetically modify my authentic journey. While trusting only sources of true inspiration, nor should you!

What Am I Capable Of Really Becoming? Truth About The Entrepreneur And Satisfaction

entrepreneur inspired to lead

I know I Am Capable Of Being Someone Great

Does An Entrepreneur Tell Himself  “I know I can do more, be more? “

I Want Power.. it feels good.. it’s a must…

Becoming a success in any venture begins with an understanding of what we are capable of.  Let me use two terms to explain the conflict that may be keeping you from feeling truly satisfied on the journey of the entrepreneur. You long for it.. You deserve it.. Here is where you will finally make sense of it…

Are You A Thermometer Or A Thermostat Entrepreneur?

Both a thermometer and a thermostat have something to do with the temperature in a room.

A thermometer “reads” the hotness or coldness in a specified area.

A thermostat, on the other hand, is a tool used to “set” the temperature in a determined area.

So how does this relate to the  entrepreneur and business owner?

Some of us have at times believed that the economy is bad. We feel justified about being unemployed.  We might blame others for our circumstances. Some of us have adopted the  belief that we are in charge of our own life. If we have no job, it’s our responsibility to fix that. We accept failure and success as part of our life.

This brings me to these two simple meters, which represent  2 different kinds of mindsets. Can you tell which mindset the thermometer  would represent?

The Thermometers mindset, reads the temperature of the room and is able to  state ” it’s 60 degrees”..

The thermostats mindset  sets the temperature of the room. We thermostats  take responsibility for our  life, our failures and successes.

A Thermometer reads the room

If I Am A Thermometer, I Am A Helpless Entrepreneur

A Thermometer Is  A Helpless Entrepreneur

As thermometers, we see the economy, our job, our family as helpless entrepreneurs, unable to change it. “It’s 60 degrees in here”! Do you look outward to your environment and state what you see? Or do you look inward and determine what environment you will create?

thermostat

As An Entrepreneur Thermostat, I Determine The Temperature Of My Environment

A Thermostat Is An Entrepreneur Creator

Deciding to be a thermostat, we no longer are in conflict. Determined  to be the  leader, the creative entrepreneur, we have the power to create your environment.  Steve Jobs, Oprah Winfrey, David Wood and  Dave Sharpe, are all considered thermostats.

Being a thermostat means that we  decide what temperature we want our life to be. Whether hot, cold, warm, chilly.. it is up to us.  Rather, be a thermostat than a thermometer,  which  is helpless to only read the temperature but has no power to change it.

Determining to take responsibility for our life, our business, our environment, starts inside us. Believing we are a thermostat starts by making the simple decision to be one.

My Thermostat Determines The Temperature Of My World

My Thermostat Determines The Temperature Of My World

Powerful Entrepreneurs Are Thermostats

The outcome of being a thermostat means that the successes in life are truly something we achieve and can be proud of. Our obstacles, if we choose to see them as  challenges to overcome, can help us become even greater and able to understand and help others  overcome them as well. Our failures are successes because we learn something from them.  Our decision to create rules for our life that support us so we can enjoy the process, gives us the satisfaction we truly long for.

This life, big or small, great or weak.. has in it the opportunity to reach great heights that give us a feeling of satisfaction unlike any other.

True Satisfaction From Flying As A Thermostat Entrepreneur

True Satisfaction From Flying As A Thermostat Entrepreneur

Be a thermostat today and no longer lean on the helplessness of being a thermometer. True success as an entrepreneur is at our feet. When we walk into a room we’ve set the temperature at, we will feel completely warmed or cooled as we have determined; the lifestyle of power and freedom we long for.
