What does it mean to pray?

Prayer is meant for the purpose of helping us feel that there is someone outside of our immediate circumstances that will help us with things we have no control over. Many people are taught to pray when they are small. The prayers are for the purpose of gaining pleasure when obstacles are in our way.

We pray to feel better, to get good grades on tests, to get a new bike, etc… As children we may have a feeling of a lack of control which conditions us to be fearful but prayer is suppose to make us feel better because God knows what to do to help us. We may tend to press God for things when we feel impatient to wait for them. This idea of praying in this way has taught so many people wrongly. Fear is one of the worst feelings we can have when we pray.

Unfortunately, we’re not taught the correct way to pray so that the fear is lessened and the things we want granted.

All prayers get answered. Whatever emotion is tied to the prayer when we pray will grant us more of the same emotion. This is the sowing and reaping principle we’re taught about in the bible and other spiritual books. Intention is the key.

What is your intention when you pray?

  • 1. To communicate with someone who can help
  • 2. To get things off your chest
  • 3. To make yourself feel better
  • 4. To state the condition of your circumstances
  • 5. To clarify where you are at in your belief at the time
  • 6. To use God to do what you cannot do on your own
  • 7. To share your feelings with someone who understands you

The 3 things missing when we want the best answers as we pray?

1. Faith in the things that bring us pleasure. Depending on the prayer, we will get more of what we believe about what we are asking.
2. Knowledge of what we need. Without having seen the future, we may not know the best things to pray for.
3. Vision of our definite purpose. Until we set a vision of a definite chief aim in life, we are drifting.

Ultimate things to pray for

What do you pray for? When we’re little we pray for things we don’t have the money to buy ourselves. We pray our siblings will be nice to us. We pray for good grades and for our parents to get along. When we’re small, we have little to no control over our circumstances. But we may not have been taught what we do have control over! Unfortunately, if you had not been taught that you are responsible for your thought life, and your belief life, then you may still be living believing that God is the only one who controls your future. This is a great lie and it’s time for you to wake up and realize that you are in control of your life now!

The lie about how to pray

The lie about prayer is that it’s meant to give you hope that God will be merciful to you and grant you what you don’t have now. The truth is, you can have, be or do anything you desire. The keys needed are “vision, knowledge and faith“. Without the knowledge that you have control over your present life, you may be living as a child, with the belief that you have no control and that you are helpless without God to show you mercy.

You have control when you pray

Discipline of our thought life should have begun as children whose parents trained us to believe that anything is possible. But today is your day if you didn’t have such parents. Taking responsibility for your life is what God intends for you to do. He set up the laws of the universe to grant you your desires. Wishes are for those who lack a belief that they have control over their life. Desires are for those who know they have control, that God is for them and the laws of God are set up for expansion of knowledge and growth for every individual on earth.

How now should we pray?

  • 1. Control is the key to answered prayer
  • 2. Faith in the good end
  • 3. Belief that God has given you the keys to success
  • 4. Knowledge of what you want in life
  • 5. Vision seen when meditating on your definite chief aim in life

Whether we’re praying for a sick relative or a business expansion, to pray means to believe the best, to be grateful for the outcome, to know that it’s answered as we pray, and to allow time to reveal the best outcome to you.

Sowing seed is another word for prayer. Allow the water and sun given to every seed by infinite intelligence to do it’s work and in due time, your prayer will be answered. You will have taken control of your present life and your future prayers will be more and more confident. These confident prayers will be answered even more swiftly because your knowledge mixed with skill and experience will grant them to you. You are in control when you pray.

What Are Parents Doing To Their Children

My daughter shared an interesting article with me on Facebook.  As we all do in social media and even offline, if something affects us emotionally, we share it; a good movie, a great beer, a great value, a new gadget or tool! Often times we learn how to parent from modeling others as well. We learn what to do and many times what not to do from our own parents or guardians. As an example of being one of those who likes to share the wisdom that we as adults declare we have, I share with you my view of this article.

Personally, when I read the first several paragraphs, I thought this writer was very bias and had no clue of a leaders perspective. I later realized that he was just building his case for the case studies he found that others declared was happening to children being raised from 2004-2013. In analysis of this article, I recorded my perspective so that you would not be left in the lurch as to how to fix the problem these supposed reports indicated.

Our parents did the best they could in raising us. Imagine if we knew how to raise emotionally healthy children. Do you believe you have the skills to help your children succeed and find satisfaction in life without begging, borrowing or stealing to get it? Honesty is a vital character quality. It begins at home. Some parents are pretty sly at being dishonest to get the teacher to chance a child’s grade. Other parents who don’t know the proper leadership principles use the governmental system to declare their children unable to take tests with a time frame attached. Writing notes and calling professors indicate a parent who is forcing a teacher to treat their child differently.

Undermining Your Children

There are things you may be doing to create children who feel inadequate

  • Make up stories about your children to cover up a mistake
  • Look a child in the eye to keep them from saying something in front of others
  • Go behind your children’s back to make the child feel inadequate
  • Lie on your income tax or when talking on the phone
  • Manipulate the system to get more governmental assistance
  • See others as “poor so in so”
  • Tell your children what to say when they have to call someone to explain a situation
  • Talk to your child daily about everything that’s going on in their day

Our children are meant to be leaders. Parents who are overly concerned about every little thing in their children’s life are generally making up for a lack of training in the early years. Unfortunately, many of us didn’t have parents with great leadership skills. We learned as we went and by the time we had some experience or learned some truth about how best to live, our little ones were teens. Too little too late, great people have troubled teens on their hands. Hoping they could get through to their children, they made a last ditch effort to share the wisdom they wished they had while they were young parents.

Leadership for Children

Do you find it hard to get on track with raising kids? I know a lot of well meaning parents whose kids are messed up. It’s sad. They are into drinking, drugs, wreckless driving, unemployment, unmotivated, aimless and more. Many young people head off to the military to get some aim in life. Those that stick with it feel secure in that lifestyle and don’t like to go home to the chaos of civilian life.

Parents must prepare, before they have children, to learn the skills of leadership over their own homes and businesses. We can raise leaders who see life with possibility and who feel great about their future . It takes knowledge and wisdom. Over concern and playing catch up is never good!

10 things you can do today to help your children become leaders are:

  1. Read to your children
  2. Homeschool if possible
  3. When your children want to help, let them
  4. When your child is curious, see this as initiative
  5. If your child falls and gets hurt, help him right away
  6. If you child has difficulty sleeping, investigate the true reason
  7. Keep your children from watching horror films
  8. Play inspiring music at home
  9. Teach your child how to save money
  10. Pay him money for jobs above and beyond the chores you set up for him/her

Parenting is  an amazing opportunity and done correctly, you will develop a team that will pay to back over and over. Over concern is an anxiety emotion and shows a lack of trust on your part. A lack of trust in yourself, in your children, your spouse, your job, the government or whatever you attach the emotion to, you pass this anxiety on to your children when you don’t do things with the intention of a positive aim in life. This chief aim is necessary to get you and your children to a life of success and satisfaction you will be proud of in the end.

Bitter Root Judgments and Forgiveness

At birth, a child cries instinctively in order to receive the pleasure of security. The pain incurred when a baby is delivered into the cold world removed from the warm stomach of the mother, causes at birth a feeling of fear and lack of security. As a child continues to grow, security is desired through many different avenues of satisfaction.

The moment a child feels the threat that brings a fear of lack of security, the child begins analyzing the surrounding for ways to feel safety again. A child may protect himself by deciding that a parent doesn’t have his safety at heart and the reaction may cause a judgement about that parent in hopes of preventing pain the child wants to avoid.

While the judgments are based on the immediate needs of the child, they are most likely not true, though this small immature mind has begun planting seeds of protection for himself. In many instances, these judgments bear fruit that causes the child to form ideas that take him further from the truth and more insecurity is created.

Parents may see fruit of these ideas being formed. However, they have no way of helping the child unless the child can plainly explain how the idea was formed earlier. These fruits must become grown up to bear fruit so as to decide whether the fruit is good or bad. At that point, a child or adult needs to take responsibility for the forgiveness to oneself as well as forgiveness to the parents or others they formed the judgment of. Forgiveness releases the judgment from the ground in which it grew and essentially, the pulling of it at it’s roots leaves room for the truth, a seed replacing the lies now exposed by the light.

Seeds and The Bitter Root

Parents are to provide the safest, loving environment they know how to provide for their children. As a child grows it’s the parents responsibility to do several things to assist the child in his discovery of a positive, successful life.

  • Children must be told they are in charge of their own mindset and must take responsibility for making good choices.
  • Growing children will make poor choices until they have a handle on the truth that they are unconditionally loved to live their true potential, to give the gifts they were born to give, to co create in true prosperity, and to become agents of change for those they will influence throughout life.
  • Parents must help them to feel safe.
  • Parents or those responsible for children must provide a belief system to support a life of  freedom, beauty and wonder of life, and  the possibilities to create available to them.

Competition and The Bitter Root

Some children feel there is no time for them. This judgment about their parents, especially when both parents work or when the children are raised by a single individual, cause the child to feel they must compete for their parents time. When their are other siblings, the competition stalls the productivity of the child’s mindset growth. This judgment is opposite to the truth that if a child is born, time makes a way to provide for him opportunity to grow, develop and have the love and safety needed.

  • Teach your child that their value is in the clay. They are valuable because they were born. They didn’t have to earn their value. The safety of their value grants them true life because they deserve it! God has SERVED (De – Serve) them to this earth for a purpose and it’s their privilege to live it out by seeking true life.
  • Children have purpose and should write out their “chief aim” for the next 5 years, repeating this every 5 years for the rest of their life. Thinking with the end in mind, children will reach forward toward the legacy they have purposed from early on. We have the freedom to believe in a positive future, whatever it is. Focus, get clear, and step forward believing it is happening daily!
  • Teach your children that nothing will get in their way. There is always a door to go through to take them towards the safety, security, happiness and joy they desire. This truth is so valuable, you may want to read it again!

Security and The Bitter Root

  • Remind your child that you are learning too! With age comes wisdom. They must expect to have more wisdom with age as well. Help them feel secure knowing you are working towards greater knowledge of living a happy, productive, successful life as they desire also.

Things To Consider about Bitter Root

  1. Who is responsible for your success in business and life?
  2. Decide to believe the best!
  3. Follow the fruit to the root of Bitter Root Judgments
  4. Turn on the light of failures in thought which caused bitter root judgments.
  5. Speak out loud with the same vigor of emotion used when you first “believed” the lie, and state the truth about it, denouncing its power. Forgive yourself and others with a simple statement from the heart.
  6.  Plant and protect the soil with a seed of truth that will grow a crop of good thoughts toward prosperity instead.
  7. Ask God (higher power, universe) to show you His love for you.
  8. Ask questions of others to clarify truth.
  9. Be a communicator.
  10. Direct others towards a fulfilling life free of bitter root judgements.

Why Am I Here?

 

Did we come with a “life’s manual” to answer “Why Am I Here”?

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all human beings were born with “manufacturer’s  instructions” tied to their wrists, explaining who they are and how they work? Of course, even if we did, most of us would probably skip the instructions and try to figure out life as we went along!

I believe human beings do come with the equivalent of operating instructions  that give us answers to our deepest questions about ourselves and our world like “why am I here”? Some of this information has been placed within us; the rest has been given to us by our Creator or “manufacturer” in written form.

Are You Confused about why am i here

There must be a reason why am I here!

Why Am I Here And Uncertainty

The reason we’re filled with such uncertainly and confusion about life is that we’ve lost our connection to these original instructions. We haven’t stopped to recognize our internal programming, or to read our life manual in order to understand our personal potential or how we work answering Why am I here? This is why we can’t see the purpose of the world itself and how it is supposed to function.

When we try but fail to solve what is broken in our lives and in our world, it is because our manufacturer’s labels have become faded, and we haven’t read this crucial instruction: “Do not try to repair yourself.  Return to Manufacturer.”

It is the Manufacturer who…

…has the original blueprints.

…knows how to repair what is broken inside us.

…can provide the replacement piece for what is missing in our lives.

The new marketers secret weapon is the “Novice marketer”. They will give away value in order to earn trust. After a while, may choose to spend big money on a product by the “gurus”. I will tell you though, more importantly, getting plugged in to a community will serve your interests way better. A mastermind group is a great benefit for you.

If you are new and want the basics for making money online, find a system that’s free to start. If you want an MLM to exercise new leaderships skills, find one that’s inexpensive to join. A good foundation is necessary before you jump into big time. If you have the money go ahead and join an expensive system. They will have optimized things for you and it may save you time.

If you go the free to learn way, you will save money but spend more time. That’s the way I started. Or if you have a couple hundred dollars extra per month to spend on training, go ahead and do that. Either way the learning curve demands you give yourself some time to absorb and then take action on each step. There is so much to learn that I can’t really put it all in this article.

 Today’s recording is a Christmas story by Louisa May Alcott, called “The Christmas Dream and How It Came True”.

What does dreaming do?

Our children are dreaming about  growing up some day. When they leave our home, they will have learned what they can from us. They will take with them the training from teachers, pastors, Sunday school lessons, coaches, club leaders and friends.

As parents, we generally first take care of our children’s physical needs. Then we may bring them to church to guide them in faith. What many parents disregard is the child’s mental health. By this I mean their thought life. Most parents never read personal development book or leadership books until college. Then it was most often for the purpose of satisfying general education classes.

Did you learn about dreaming when you were in school?

If parents even went to college they went for a good grade to keep up their GPA. This lack of understanding of the value of developing their thought life purposefully is perhaps only taught to psych students and perhaps philosophy students. I personally didn’t take “business” classes in college and I would hope that they are now teaching the psychology of sales and reading people.

So this is why as parents, many miss this part of developing their children’s minds.
Most parents warn their children to “stop dreaming” and keep their feet on earth! Children with ADHD are cautioned to take medicine for such “disorders” when their little entrepreneurs are natural dreamers and would do well if teachers helped them discipline their minds without keeping them from the natural process of dreaming about things.

What value is there in dreaming?

The value of dreaming is what adults have to re connect with when deciding to take responsibility for their futures. Our children are naturally self centered. So what do we do to help them? We encourage them to dream!

Yes, dreaming of what they would like to do, where they would like to go, how they want to be seen as adults, are the necessities of the leader entrepreneur.

If you want your children to find their own way in life, encourage them to dream. Guide them toward what kind of dreams they should consider pondering.

1. The kind of work they want to do
2. The place they want to live
3. The car they want to drive
4. The people they want to meet
5. The way they want their bodies to look
6. The friends they want to have
7. The kind of person they want to marry

This is just the beginning of guiding our children. Though we are famous for judging the things our children while comparing them to others, we need to stop that!

We live in a world of unlimited possibilities. Our children are brought up in society to believe they must compete for that Job, position, house, girl, boy, etc… but competition is NOT what we need to teach our kids.

While listening to this story, notice the mother who helped fulfill the dream her child had. This is an excellent example of 3 things.
1. Children have dreams
2. Parents need to share the kinds of dreams that can become a reality for their children.
3. Children entrepreneurs are individuals. They may be in school and being taught to “conform” to the norm. While this is necessary to keep order in a school setting, parents would help their children by encouraging their children to write down their dreams in a journal and keep writing daily.

Your children’s future is in your hands for about 15 years at most. By that time, they are making most of their decisions on their own. Let’s help them make wise decisions that will grant them a happy, healthy, prosperous future!

The pages of your copy must be easy to read.  As you plan your page, think about what it should look like. Then follow these simple instructions.

Dense, intimidating, ragged?
Open, inviting, even?

Columns:
1. Use a single column.
Several blocks of text side by side is like several people talking at

once. It reduces conversion rates.
2. Use subheadings. They break up copy
and, written right, draw in skimmers

A paragraph which itemizes is more effective as a list.

4. Use sidebars.

They’re excellent for calling out testimonials, benefits, proofs, guarantees,

illustrations—anything which doesn’t readily fit into the body copy.

Reversed text is twice as hard to read as dark-on-light.

Font sizes below 16 pixels are very hard for
many people;

as are columns wider than 75 characters
and line-heights below 130%.

Every page should have a call to action asking Sam to fulfill its

objective.

Call To Action (the PS)

1. Weight them.
If you have more than one cta, make the primary one dominant.

2.. Three or fewer.
Too many choices will overwhelm Sam and lead to inaction.

To make call to action buttons too big.
As their size increases, so do conversion rates.

4. Use action words.
Start your ctas button with verbs like “click here”.
