My capital one credit card collections came in around 2 years .. I contact an alliance on the settlement of my debt. i owed some $ 1,350 and settled for 950 to pay more than three months and then my account is settled. Was this smart? Why the government to reject a plan to help Americans with credit card debt? (PUBLISHED ARTICLE LINK)?

I do not understand injecting billions of dollars in these f * cking big corporations and yet cannot help that I think is the biggest reason why the economy sucks at this time and this is the debt of the credit card that many Americans are. My hypothesis that have an income of $ 30,000 a year. at the age of 19 I provided more than $ 20,000 in credit through four different business credit cards. of course, my butt did young immature I know this pursue two years later. But the point of truth is that these credit card companies are what I believe are the snakes. and our government has no regulations on them to indebtedness of young people are not education on the negative effects of having a credit card debt high. Success in Life

As Spiritual beings, do you know that at one point in your life you were given dominion over your thoughts, words and actions?  Our word life and our thought life are a manifestation of our spirit life. So if we are manifesting negative thoughts about ourselves, about God, and about others, these thoughts are telling us what our spirit believes.

I want to share with you further how to help yourself manifest what IS TRUE, and what is NOT. Thereby living as close to your destiny as possible at all times.

Life is a journey. Along the way, we travel on different roads.  People around us place us on roads when we are children. When old enough to reason, at age 9, we begin choosing our own roads. All this time, our thoughts are being formed about ourselves, about God and about others.  God bless parents who are wise to set their children on paths of success. Words spoken over a success filled child, advances him so quickly, and he gets to the winner’s circle way quicker than others. I would hope that all parents would be consistent in speaking well toward their children.  However, these parents were also children at one time and were subject to this same opportunity path.

So what happens to those children whose parents spoke dishonorably over their children? Parents speak word curses that bring death to the spirits in their children. These words paralyze the spirit of a child and it could take years to recover from the wounds.

So what do wounds have to do with business or personal success in life? Well, what is success to you? Having a family and making a decent living? For some this is success. What do you think that person heard as a child growing up? Ok, how about another persons’ idea of success; become president of the US., invent a cure for cancer. What did his parents speak over him as a child?

We are all born with a spirit, innate qualities and gifting. Some call these giftings, “redemptive” gifts. They are teacher, exhorter, giver, ruler, servant, mercy, prophet. At the core of each person, the spirit is born with a personality and gifting. All may have the capacity to exhibit every one, but one gift dominates and is key to discovery of the person we are made to be. Once we find that gift, we are well on our way to success in life.

Success though, can be stifled by the words we were told about our identities. Parents would do well to speak to their children’s spirit and call forth, or draw out the truth calling inside their little bodies. If this is not changed, generations will repeat the same mistakes and success will be limited to what your spirit believes about himself.

What a person’s spirit believes is also influenced by belief in God. God is always present but He is like the best of men, a gentleman. I don’t use the word father right now because so many of us have had fathers who do not represent themselves as moral, just and judgmental positively.  But in all fairness to some fathers, I say that Father God is the best example of a positive role model for men and women.  We don’t know this if we have not had an opportunity to know God when we are youngsters.

My goal here is to share with you some generalities about who you are, who God is, and who others are.  We have 2 options in life. We either know God as a good God, a father, a friend, a creator, a fierce warrior, a lover and a victor, OR we do not know Him. The only change for men and women who have had word curses placed on them to achieve success in life is to know God.  Sure, some may use the laws God set up for His people. These laws are universal and anyone who finds these laws and uses them to his advantage will reach a certain degree of success. God is not trying to take things from us. He is trying to get things to us.

In getting things to us, God must make a way for that person, whose spirit has been wounded to a greater or lesser degree, to receive the TRUTH about him.  What things? Well… Freedom for one! Success in everything we set our hands to, is another.  This is the core of the Christian faith.  You will know the truth and it will set you free. According to the Bible, Jesus is the way the truth and the life. No man comes to the father but by Him. Taking this truth, for God’s Word is true, is appears that Jesus is the key to this freedom and success.

So how can the spirit of a person be set free from the word curses and negative beliefs he thinks are true? How can the spirit of a person experience success to the highest degree?

These are questions many must ask before they attempt to be successful in life. Success to some is paying the credit card payment, others not using a credit card, others, being the lender of the money and not the borrower. The Bible states that it is better to be the lender and not the borrower. Of course that makes sense. But what about all of us who are using the credit card and are maxed out on it? What do people like us do? We want to be the lender and not the borrower but it seems like we can’t ever get ahead. We are always the ones getting the traffic violations while the guy in the Porsche gets away with going 90 down the expressway.  What is wrong here?

That is an excellent and truthful question. The only answer I know to be true is that Jesus has made a way for us. Somehow, some way, in God’s love for us, and according to His design, we must lean on His truths and not our own. What we believe is keeping us under bondage of credit cards, of being the borrower instead of the lender. How can we possibly succeed without some TRUTH? So I resorted to leaning not on my own understanding. I can’t be trusted because I have a faulty belief system.

The way, the truth and the life, Jesus teaches us the TRUTH ABOUT WHO WE ARE AND WHAT THIS LIFE IS FOR.  The most difficult thing for me was TRUSTING God. It has taken be a while to really let Him in. He so wants me to know what He thinks of me. The HOLY SPIRIT is the voice of God. Our spirit is also like Him, as we are told that we are made in His image.  According to the Bible, when we ask the Holy Spirit to come close,  which He is specifically designed to do,  He is ready to come as close as you want. He will be with you all the time if you want.

However, like God, He too is a perfect gentleman. He will never violate your trust, or force Himself on you. For me, that was a real eye opener. I was so closed off, trying to protect myself from words and actions of others, in fear of being hurt, that it took me a long time to hear the Holy Spirit’s words of encouragement to me.  Funny thing was that I thought I was close to God all along. My spirit was so wounded that as I let Him in a little at a time, I would cry and cry and became exhausted from the love He was trying to express towards me.

It was a painful process by that time.

I use the following illustration to explain what I felt was happening.  It seemed like I had all these weeds growing on the inside of me. And I had to take a hand full of seeds and push aside a spot of weeds, and shove the seeds into the dirt, and hold them there, so that the weeds would not overtake the seeds of love. All the weeds were like the word curses, lies I believed, and circumstances I experienced in my life to that point. Yes, it was I who was putting the seeds inside. I don’t know why I felt that I had to do the planting. I still am not quite sure. It must be that I was given freedom to choose by God. He knew I needed to do this for myself. He knew I would want to be part of the process and that is would make me feel empowered somehow. It did. I do feel good that I had a part to play in the process. God knows exactly what is needed for our spirits to become free.

Well, freedom is the first step to success in life. But true success is a matter of more than be set free. It means using the freedom as a help so that others can be free too. Positive affirmations alone are not enough to get us free. At the root of our spirits is a lie. Follow the fruit to the root and cut that root off and the fruit will no longer be. In the same sense, plant good seed, and the fruit produced will be 30, 60 and 100 fold. This is a law from the Bible.  A field needs to be protected in order that the weeds will not be able to encroach and over take it. So maintaining your garden is vital. This is where affirmations can help.

Success is doing this enough and over and over. We are transformed by the renewing of our mind.  So we can win the race, if that is what we see as having success.  What is success to you? Is making your car payment? Is it owning 5 cars? Is it owning a dealership? Be transformed, renew your mind, believe the Holy Spirit’s loving words about who He says you are, and you will have 30, 60 or 100 fold return on what you believe about you.

Joyce Meyer says “the battlefield is in the mind”. Well, I say that the mind is the place where our spirits demonstrate or live out what we believe about who we are.  The root cause of a lack of success is a lack of belief that we can be successful. With God, all things are possible. So allow Holy Spirit to root out the lies you have believed about yourself. Ask Him to remove the word curses spoken over your spirit. Ask Him to protect your spirit and to keep telling you the truth about who you are. You have a core gifting, given by the Father God, a redemptive gift that is at the root of your spirits personality.

Your success is in that gift.

Get to the roots, cut them off. Find your gifting.  And you will grow up a garden of flourishing fruit a 30, 60 or 100 fold.  Success is inevitable when we choose to trust the Holy Spirit. God is not trying to take anything away from you. On the contrary, He is so willing and able, with your permission, to get to you, everything you need for life and success.

Believe and Acknowledge Him

Believing God- Remember to Acknowledge God in Your thinking Life.

“This is my body which I have given for you”, Jesus says. As the manifested Spirit of God, called God’s dear Son, Jesus taught us by His example how to acknowledge God in all our ways, in our thoughts and in our actions.

I have reflected several times now on choices we make; how choices have power. I’ve spoken about our freedom to choose. I’ve said that our choices can give life or death to ourselves and others around us. Yes, we do make an impact either way.

Does that frighten you? It should startle you a bit. But do not fear. Along with the freedom to choose, God’s not given us, a spirit of fear. By His grace, He sent the Holy Spirit, who is of power, of love and of a sound mind. God is for us. God’s greatest joy is that our thoughts, feelings, and desires give life to others… to make a positive impact on ourselves and others, which is how we give Him glory.

I want to give God glory today by sharing with you some personal things that have impacted my life. I may be misunderstood by some, but with all the thousands who read this, there will be some who will be impacted in a positive way. YOU are the ones I write this for.

As a woman, I raised a family and found myself at the other end of divorce papers, which was not my decision. It was put upon me by my former spouse and it devastated me! His decision made a critical impact on me and was a “DEATH BLOW” to my entire existence.  For over 20 years, I dedicated myself to motherhood. I was an excellent mom, but according to my spouse, I was not a good wife. This again, was a death blow. My understanding of this was based on what wisdom, knowledge, revelation, and freedom I had at the time.

With the revealed knowledge and wisdom I have gained over the last 4 yrs, I know  NOW, that my thoughts and my confessions had sometimes been based on my own understanding. Now, acknowledging God in all my ways, according to His will, my thoughts and confessions are having a positive impact on myself and others.
The Bible states it this way; ‘What the enemy meant for evil, God means for good’.  So as I choose to have faith in the Word, I must then acknowledge that all things work out for good to them that are called according to His purpose. In faith I press on.

So what is God’s purpose? How could He use what I perceived as a ‘death blow’, to be for a good end?

This is the power we are subject to when we are walking with God, a living breathing Father. He is alive and active. He is not just energy… He is a Spirit. He is also a manifested God, in Christ, His son. And above that, He is Creator of everything known and unknown. He is too big for us to grasp, yet He knows our every part. Psalm 139.

Could God restore my life and give me another opportunity to have a marriage that is more satisfying in my mind and heart, than the first?

Because I believe God loves me, because He is for me, because my thoughts are toward a good end, and because the Holy Spirit is alive in me, my arsenal is filled with powerful weapons. I am more convinced than ever that God has set a man in place who is of high esteem, who is honorable and steadfast in his faith, who now is being prepared to be faithful to me; a man who is enlightened and knows what he lives for.

Should I believe any less of God than that? Certainly Not!

I am convinced that God is moving on my behalf, has moved for me and is ever moving to create an environment for me to dwell satisfied in. He has saved me. He has forgiven me time and time again. His mercy towards me is great. His grace is every present and everlasting. And His time is my time. He has made time for my benefit. He has made me to live, to love, to dwell with him in glory while in this body and even more so, when I am through with this body. This body has been a comfort to me; a place to see me, a place to abide for this time. And I am happy to dwell in this body.

He has made me and given me a challenge to take care of myself and to give myself an opportunity to be healthy. He has blessed me. This is the blessing. To have a place to live… in this body…This is my place for the present time and God is glorified as others see me, as others see what beauty God has made, that God keeps, sustains and that God is glorified by.
There was a time, not long ago, that I didn’t know this but now I do. I want others to come to the fullness of this knowledge and wisdom. This is not a shallow thought… as pride… but this is the recognition that we as human beings have an earthen vessel for this time that we dwell here on earth. This vessel is created by God to show the glory of God. This mind, he has given me, is to produce, by my choices, glory! At the very least, I am told by the Word to acknowledge the truth about our creator… This creator is alive and vibrant and living as we dwell in His presence for Him.

So perhaps you are wondering what you can really do to give God glory? You can make your life count, make changes, and create habits that bring wholeness where woundedness and limited sight may be. You can have lasting change and feel satisfied instead of always feeling a victim of circumstances.

I think it’s natural to ask these questions. God has not made us curious for no reason. Our brains are very excellent. God designed us to be as smart as we have courage enough to believe we can be.

It begins here!
“Acknowledge God in all your ways, and He will direct your path!” Proverbs 3:6

Acknowledge that God is here, a Person, alive and active in you.

Believe me, I have experienced God. I live to impact your life by these words and by my effort to bring them to you. Jesus taught me by His example and I bring this to you for His sake so that you too would glorify Him by being an example to others.
Beth Moore, author of  “Believing God“, shares a hands on activity that goes like this.: Put up each of your five fingers, one at a time, and with each, say aloud the following statement.

1. God is who He says He is.

2. God can do what He says He can do.

3. I am who God says I am.

4. I can do all things through Christ.

5. God’s Word is alive and active in me

Now you have done a great thing!

You have acknowledged God in all your ways. It’s that simple. Each day, I encourage you to repeat these 5 statements.  And at the end of it, put you pointer to your chest, then your temple, then to the sky, and with each movement, say “I…. believe….. God… God is active and will direct your path.

When you perceive and believe that you can’t go on, when work is not going well, when your marriage is in trouble, when you face any difficulty you can’t handle alone, remember what I have told you. I finally realized, after many years of trial and error, that God is not trying to take stuff from us. He’s trying to get stuff to us!!!

So in order for Him to get stuff to us, by faith, in the knowledge and wisdom of these words I’m writing, acknowledged your Father in all of your ways, and the Father promises to direct your path. As followers of the ways of God, lets follow our mentor, Jesus the Christ, and with the freedom to choose, in this knowledge and wisdom, decide that we have a good future ahead of us. Choose to see this journey from the eyes of God.  Choose to acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He WILL DIRECT YOUR PATH.

CHOICES – OUR GREAT FREEDOM

WE PERCEIVE WHAT WE BELIEVE

Our CHOICES Make Us More or Less of What WE Are Meant To Be

Our lives can be simple or complex. We live in this world for a short time compared to eternity. While we are here, from time to time, the question of       “WHO AM I AND WHAT IS THIS ALL FOR” comes to the forefront.

No matter what comes our way, we have choices to make. What choice will you make today? Why will you choose that and not another?

CHOICES are the single most powerful freedom we have while living in this body.

In this video teaching, Graham Cooke shares his perspective on MAKING CHOICES. He stands on a foundation that cannot be shaken. Where he stands is next to the Lord God, in a living and vibrant relationship with his Creator. His God is not found in brick and mortar, though God provided these substances as an opportunity for human beings to create things in the earth.

But with everything that is natural, there is also a spiritual paradigm. And we do create things spiritually. We create life or death by the power of our words and our actions; BY THE CHOICES WE MAKE. However, the secret to overcoming the death blows that others speak over you can be OBSERVED by your choice. What will you choose to see? Will your choose to believe that persecution is something that makes you MORE OF WHO YOU ARE MEANT TO BE?

So where are you standing when you make your choices? On what foundation? Are you in a valley or on a mountain? Your perspective changes depending on where you stand.

I want to tell you where I stand when I make my choices!!!!

When I met Graham Cooke, one of my mentors, at a conference in Harrisburg PA, I honored him by asking him if I could give him a hug. In humility, he stretched out his arms. I felt the love of God rush over me. It satisfied me. Graham is a great man of God and it is an honor to share with you his heart about our Creator.

In this video clip Graham Cooke tells his story of overcoming and the secrets of the KINGDOM.

He has been trained in the ways of God and is sensitive to the needs of others.  He tells of his experiences with those who discredited him.  “They will look for anything to criticize be cynical about and even challenge you”, he declares.

“They may get personal, even to the point of writing articles about you in a newsletter. They may even seek you out and tell everyone you’re a deceiver”.

“It’s tough!”

Graham goes on, “They might go so far as to warn others about you… yet they’d be listening to everything you said.” In Graham’s case, they would go to his events, sit up front, and take notes. Then go back and write newsletters   to discredit him. And for months, it grated on him.

In his desperation, he would pray ‘God, kill them and make it slow. At least maim them and damage their writing hand!’

Graham knew the power of dreams that God would give him. Dreams are God’s way of telling us things He wants us to know. They could be a call for us to pray, a warning about something, and a number of other things. I will share those with you another time. But for now, in this teaching, Graham is watching God speak to him and Graham is positioned in a very intimate place with God.

This is where I stand with God as well. I am a lover of God and a lover of others FOR GOD!

God will show you things. In Graham’s dream, while standing next to the throne, Graham watches angels wheel in marble, so beautiful. God spoke to his left and Jesus puts finger into marble and outlines the figure.  God asks “what do you think?” and gives command and3 figures begin to carve the marble.

God says to Graham, ‘encourage them! Get into the spirit of it! They’re making something glorious!’ So Graham begins to really shout blessings to them; “strength to you, power, zeal!  He continued to shout “blessings to you go for it guys!” Then God says “They will work a lot harder if you encourage them.”

This is the secret! Do you see it? To those who have ears to hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying here! Can you see it? To those who have eyes to see, see what the Spirit is doing!

“Father… it’s so beautiful!”

“That’s you, Graham! That’s how I see you! That’s what I’m making you. Would you like to see who did it?”

God showed Graham that the ones who were carving him out were the very same ones who were discrediting them… the stooges, who persecuted him in writing.

Upon waking from this dream Graham shouting to his wife, “I know what the stooges are for… now I understand that God sent them to make me become the kind of person God wants me to be!”

So I say “yes” to God, and I will pray for them. Because of that dream, I now feel a rush of affection for them. And when Graham saw them at future events, though they looked  like brothers grim, he would say to them,  “ So guys, how are you doing?” and his heart towards them  was completely changed. In fact, he felt to accommodate them by desiring to want to even ask them, “Can I get you a biscuit?

Graham’s heart totally changed after his dream. Do you see the power in that dream?

Do you see the power he has because of his intimate relationship with his creator God?

This truth is way more powerful than a time of meditation alone. Graham is a man who made a choice; a choice to acknowledge that God is a person, who desires to know him. God is the way, the truth and the life that we all seek. Nothing but that relationship with cause us to become all we are meant to become! NOTHING!

This is the absolute truth!

The role of opposition has to bless and shape us into the man or woman we are suppose to be, as we live this life “in Christ”.  Persecution!  How will we see it now?

God allows in His wisdom what He can easily prevent with His power.

God uses all these things to shape us into the man or woman of God that he wants us to be.

This excerpt is taken from the devotional “Come Away My Beloved”, by Frances J. Roberts

Then the lame shall leap like a deer,
And the tongue of the dumb sing.
For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness,
And streams in the desert.
The parched ground shall become a pool,
And the thirsty land springs of water.

Isaiah 35:6-7

Behold, I have placed within you a spring of living water. For My Spirit shall be a continual flowing forth of life from your innermost being. This I have promised to all My children, and this you may experience as you claim it by faith.  All My promises are received by faith. None are gained by merit, nor are they awards for human achievements.

It is My Life I am giving you. It is not an emotion; it is not a virtue, though these may subsequently follow. It is Myself. Divine grace, heavenly love, infinite mercy, fathomless peace– all these will spring forth not beckoned and irrepressible out of the depths within you because My Spirit has taken residence there.

If there is dryness within your soul and you do not have this life flowing forth, you need not grieve or chide yourself for being empty. Fill up the empty place with praise. Through praise you may open to Me the gates to you soul’s temple. The King will enter and bring His glory. The Rose of Sharon shall bloom in your heart, and His fragrance will be shed abroad.

For the promise of the Father is to all who believe, yes, to all who are called, even those who are far off (see Act 2:39). And this promise is the gift of the indwelling presence of My Holy Spirit, promised to all who have been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, who have repented of their sins and received remission (see Act 2:38).

Yes, I say to you, it is a gift. It is written: “How much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him” (Luke 11:13)! Ask, and you shall receive, and your joy shall be full.

As surely as a door is opened in response to a knock; as surely as that which is lost is found by the one who searches after it’ and a surely as one who makes a request receives that for which he has asked; even so, in similar fashion, and with corresponding simplicity, I will give to you, My child, the Holy Spirit for no other reason than because you have asked Me to do so. I have not placed this blessing beyond your reach, for it is My desire that you shall have it.

How can My Church be victorious without the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit filling each believer: You thwart My purposes and block My path when you do not avail yourself of this, My provision. Do you suppose I can accomplish My will through a powerless body? For each Christian is to be a channel through which My blessings may flow, and how can you be open to My blessings if you are filled with yourself? Only to the degree that you allow My Spirit to flow in, will “self” be driven out.

The open heart shall be filled. The sin confessed shall be forgiven. The hunger after righteousness shall be satisfied. Be as a little child. I will be to you a loving Father. You shall have what you desire because I love you. Let this be your hope, and you faith shall be rewarded. My power is not reserved for a few selected saints. It is available to all, and it is available to you. ASK!

How credit counseling and debt relief services earn money?

I see their ads all the time, offering to reduce debt by half and such. While I applaud these services so we are trying to somehow have to make money, or they could not afford to run these ads. Where is the profit coming from. Appreciate the answers in advance, thanks!

Usually they are paid for both creditors and debtors. Creditors are willing to pay a fee to someone who will get their money for themselves instead of having a loss. Debtors are happy to reduce payments and a structured program to pay various debts into one manageable payment. Everyone is happy with the arrangement. Relief companies are acting a middle man, which generate a profit themselves. The key to this is that anyone can negotiate with creditors. They can do it themselves and avoid the fees, either hidden or known. If you do, then they can apply the "fee" money for payments and possibly end up ahead of the game. Good luck

Interest Only Mortgage? Is it the best way to go?

My partner and I are looking to buy our first home together. We are using a consultant is seeking financial and until we have an interest only mortgage for the first two years. However, I know I will not be able to make savings to cover the existing mortgage. He thinks that if I remortgage after two years the inflation rate would mean we would have enough capital to put on the house, therefore, does not cause any extra. Realize that the power of "payback" key is that you pay very little in the early years, and a lot of interest. Typically in a 30-year fixed mortgage, you have to pay 1% of the principal in the first year, and 1.1% in the second. Therefore, if you refinance after two years on a traditional mortgage, refinancing is 98% of the balance in a traditional mortgage. Your adviser is making two predictions: 1. The house value will increase in two years in February. Interest rates in two years will be the same or lower than now. Ask her how she knows to be true? If you want to have an interest only mortgage, not having one with only a horizon two years / globe. Go for a mortgage LIBOR rate basis, allowing you to make any time within a horizon of 10 years.
