People are beginning to build their online presence by using their passion as the foundation for branding their business.

BEING A BUSINESS OWNER ONLINE REQUIRES A DIFFERENT WAY TO SELL

Online marketers are finally figuring out what offline business owners have known for years. You must build the “know, like and trust” with your clients, customers, and prospects. In order to do this online, you must follow these steps to position yourself as a “trusted authority” first.

1. Find your passion.

2. Build your brand

3. Develop your know, like and trust.

WHAT DO I NEED A COACH FOR?

The following are  6 steps to help you  find your strengths and  passion if you want to focus on doing what you love while making money online.

1.Make a list of the 12 things you like about yourself, things you consider strengths.

2. Prioritize them, top being your greatest strength.

3. Make a list of 12 things you consider to be your weaknesses.

4. Set that list aside. Considering those 12 things, what would be the dream job you would create around them?

5. Choose 3 areas that you could market yourself in.

Origin Of The $ Sign | “Numis Network”

$ symbol

Origin of the Dollar Sign

Entrepreneurs Searching For Origin Of $

Striking Gold  With Numis

Curiosity hit me when looking at the Dollar symbol on a facebook page of Vince Reed’s, owner of Netdivvy Marketing Online Training System, where he uses it as a profile picture. I wrote him to inquire of its origin and decided to do some digging myself and this is that I found. In this two part series, is a list of historical references, a philosophical analysis, biblical thought and some current information on the U. S. Mint and Numis Network, an MLM dealing in M70 coins. Finally listed is a word about the coinage industry. Did anyone know that coinage sales are one of  the 4 top sales industries in the US today? Movies, music, pet supply and coins all do $10 billion in sales yearly. Entrepreneurs searching for the origin of the $ are striking gold with Numis.

The Dollar Sign

The sign is attested in business correspondence between the British, Americans, Canadians, and Mexicans in the 1770s, as referring to the Spanish-Mexican peso, known as “Spanish dollar” or “pieces of eight” in British North America where it was adopted as U.S. currency in 1785, together with the term “dollar” and the $ sign.

The Origin

The origin of the “$” sign has been variously accounted for. The most widely accepted theory is that it derives from the Spanish coat of arms engraved on the Spanish colonial silver coins, the “Real de a ocho” or Spanish dollars that were in circulation in the Spanish colonies in America and Asia. The Spanish dollars were also legal tender in the English colonies in North America, which later became part of the U.S. and Canada.

In 1492, King Ferdinand II of Aragon adopted the symbol of the Pillars of Hercules and added the Latin phrase Non Plus Ultra meaning “no further”, indicating “this is the end of the (known) world.” But when Christopher Columbus discovered America, the legend was changed to “Plus Ultra”, “beyond.”

It’s Adoption

The symbol was adopted by Charles V and was part of his coat of arms representing Spain’s American possessions. The symbol was later stamped on coins minted in gold and silver. These coins, depicting the Pillars of Hercules over two hemispheres and a small “S”-shaped ribbon around each, were spread throughout America, Europe and Asia. For the sake of simplicity, traders wrote signs that, instead of saying dollar or peso, had this symbol made by hand, and this in turn evolved into a simple S with two vertical bars.

Alternative hypotheses

There’s another documented explanation that states that the sign is the result of the evolution of the Spanish and Mexican scribal abbreviation “ps” for pesos. This theory, derived from a study of late eighteenth- and early nineteenth-century manuscripts, explains that the s gradually came to be written over the p developing a close equivalent to the “$” mark.”

For More Information on the origin of the $  symbol, and the more recent history of money, silver and gold, and coinage see PART II.

For more info on Numis Network continue reading part II and your search will end with this pure golden industry. Retail sales as well as membership prices are available for those who have interest in sharing the value of the dollar with their family and friends.

Numis Network utilizes minted dollar coins and has become the first MLM dealing in M70’s silver and gold coins. For More information on the history of coinage and more articles on gold and silver, see  NumisRichGold.

Origin Of The $ Sign: Part II | “Numis Network”

As curiosity would have it, my search for the origin of the $ symbol began after meditating on Vince Reeds profile picture on Facebook. Here is the continuing elaboration on the meanings listed through the ages.

Derivation

The dollar sign is said to have been derived from a slash through the numeral eight, denoting pieces of eight. The Oxford English Dictionary before 1963 held that this was the most probable explanation, though later editions have placed it in doubt.

The dollar sign was derived from or inspired by the mint mark on the Spanish pieces of eight that were minted in Potosí (in present day Bolivia). The mint mark, composed of the letters “PTSI” superimposed, bears a strong resemblance to the single-stroke dollar sign. The mark, which appeared on silver coins minted from 1573 to 1825 in Potosí, the largest mint during the colonial period, would have been widely recognized throughout the North American colonies.

Greek Mythology

The dollar sign may have also originated from Hermes, the Greek god of bankers, thieves, messengers, and tricksters: Besides the crane, one of his symbols was the caduceus, a staff from which ribbons or snakes dangled in a sinuous curve.

Monogram for the U.S. Mint

The  $ is a monogram of U. S., used on money bags issued by the United States Mint. The letters U and S superimposed resemble the historical double stroke dollar sign $ the bottom of the ‘U’ disappears into the bottom curve of the ‘S’, leaving two vertical lines. This theory does not consider the fact that the symbol was already in use before the formation of the United States. One company utilizing U.S. Minted coins is Numis Network This is a U.S. based MLM Company which markets M70 coins, made by the U.S. Mint. The U.S. coin market is a sleeper industry selling $10 billion a year, and $10 billion a year worldwide. Entrepreneurs searching for gold are finding this sleeper industry a gold mine, this minted train market, chugging along as a fast pace.

Atlas Shrugged Philosophy

The book Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand includes a section where the main characters philosophize about the United States being the only nation to ever use its own monogram for it currency symbol. They suggest it means that the country had always been primarily concerned with the creation of wealth.

“Unit of silver”- Derivation

That it derives from “unit of silver”, each unit being one “bit” of the “pieces of eight”. Before the American Revolution, prices were often quoted in units of the Spanish dollar. According to this theory, when a price was quoted the capital ‘S’ was used to indicate silver with a capital ‘U’ written on top to indicate units. Eventually the capital ‘U’ was replaced by double vertical hash marks.

Biblical Understanding

That it derives from the symbol used on a German Thaler. According to Ovason (2004), on one type of thaler one side showed the crucified Christ while the other showed a serpent hanging from a cross, the letters NU near the serpent’s head, and on the other side of the cross the number 21. This refers to the Bible, Numbers, Chapter 21.

Later History

That the dollar sign goes back to the most important Roman coin, the sestertius, which had the letters ‘HS’ as its currency sign. When superimposed these letters form a dollar sign with two vertical strokes.

According to a plaque in St Andrews, Scotland, the dollar sign was first cast into type at a foundry in Philadelphia, United States in 1797 by the Scottish immigrant John Baine.

The dollar sign did not appear on U.S. coinage until February 2007, when it was used on the reverse of a $1 coin authorized by the Presidential $1 Coin Act of 2005. The dollar sign appears on the reverse of the 1934 $100,000 note as well as the reverse of the 1917 $1 note.

“Can You Trust Your Conscience?” | Personal Development

People all over this world in regardless of what industry they are in, are looking for the secrets for successful living.  In this part two of ‘Where do you place your confidence?’, I want to continue to share the first of seven secrets for success. Is it possible that our conscience is condemning us even though we walk in truth? In this chapter, I will reveal a secret that only those who diligently seek, will find here in these pages.

The truth cannot lie.

There is a secret found in the Word that can cause a shift in your mindset that could be the difference between failure and success in your life, your business, your family, and whatever else you are involved in.  Multitudes of people have bought the lie that has kept them in bondage for decades. But that lie is being exposed right now. There is a force reminding us daily that we are not worthy, or good enough to deserve success. For some of us who don’t know this is happening, it can arouse our soulish imagination and keep us believing lies.

Like our laptop, built to be programmed, so is our “spirit”, our core, born to receive software. Past programming, can cause our “spirit” to crash from time to time, if there are server or other conflicts. We know our past experiences serve as a great platform for creating conflict with our personal development techniques and strategies. This is where most crashes occur. So where does this manifest in us? It occurs in our conscience. This is the emotional area of us that reveals what the core or spirit believes. In fact the Word of God for example says that our conscience can condemn us. This is where the rubber meets the road.

Is your conscience condemning you?

The Word says if we’re walking in the truth, we are in union with God and He with us. We also gain access to the Holy Spirit, our supernatural power source, who is like the most cutting edge spyware package programmed in us too. Again, some may not buy this. Buy the Holy Spirit is an added bonus for those who received Jesus salvation package. You guys know about added bonuses right? Lol !

So let’s continue!

Considering all this, it is clear that we may be believing things that we need to admit. Jonathan Budd and others have spoken about getting to the root of an issue. Expose it. Like a virus, we need to get rid of it! Taking all this into consideration, could your conscience be condemning you? If so, it’s lying to you. In today’s society it common to hear about the positive impact affirmations have on those who say them. I urge you to consider reading the following affirmation out loud. It may be the thing that changes your mindset for good.  For some of you, reword it with something similar if you want to satisfy your own belief system.

Say this now: ‘In the name of Jesus, I bind the spirit of condemnation and it’s lie that I am not worthy to be successful in my life. Jesus, my conscience has lied to me.  Take that lie to hell where it belongs. I tell my conscience the truth that I walk in love and obey God’s commands.’
Be reminded of this; If your conscience does not condemn you, you walk in peace with God. Now you can be confident again. You are more than a conqueror. You are victorious even in this! You are better able to to have success in life including your online business or any business. Netdivvy is the training system that gave me an opportunity to bring this article to you. I am having much system using this system and I hope you will take a look at it.

Where Do You Place Your Confidence? |Personal Development

People all over this world seek strategies for success. Some seek “The Why” to find a deeper connection that will sustain them through the ups and downs of business. Others ask more profound questions like,  Why am I alive? Does my life matter? What is this all for?  Still more read books to help them find definitive answers. Some look to ancient teachings that have stood the test of time. Others look to science to define the truth. For the sake of this article I will use a portion of the Holy Bible to help shed some light on an idea that I think is vital for us in order to become successful in life. I want to tell you a secret I discovered about your conscience.
Please open up your minds to this so that you may discover this secret truth about your conscience. Whatever you call God here, it’s fine with me. Try to understand the concept here.  I read 1st John 3:11-24 and verse 18 popped out. It says, ‘my children, our love should not be just words and talk. It must be true love, which shows itself in action.’  It goes on to say, ‘This then is how we will know that we belong to the truth; this is how we will be confident in God’s presence.’

Love is an action. That’s easy to understand right?

Then it says, ‘if our conscience condemns us, we know that God is greater than our conscience and that He knows everything. Wow, those words made all the difference to me. I received this word as truth that my conscience may not know the truth. This is where the shift must start.  If our conscience doesn’t condemn us, we have courage in God’s presence. Do you see that? Do you see that it’s possible that your conscience may believe a lie.

What lie is it you may ask?

Okay for this next part, you may not buy the fact that there is a force pressing against us that we need to press through in order to overcome and get to the truth but bare with me here. Of course, this force can remind us that we are not worthy and arouse our soulish imagination to keep us in that lie. But if we choose to believe the truth, we will know better because we just read it here.

God would prefer us stand in the truth. This is our firm foundation. I have spoken of this foundation that leaders stand on.  We walk in truth as we love in action, not just in words. If you hate your brother or anyone, then you really can’t say that you walk in love. You may want to go back and read the verses again and see what you have to do to fix that. But if you can say that you walk in love then read on. Just remember that love is not just words spoken, but action. This includes the actions we take to love ourselves.

But this is not the end of it. It’s not the love part that keeps us from success. It’s what our conscience is programmed to tell us.

Due to past programming by all manner of negativity, this force would prefer us feel we could ask for anything but not expect to receive it. But the Word is clear here. If we walk in love, ‘we receive what we ask because we obey His commands and do what pleases God.’ Ok, according to the  Bible, it says, ‘What pleases Him is that we believe in the truth of Jesus and love one another.’ Here is where some of you may differ in your beliefs and I respect that. If you feel condemnation right now, you could be a victim of the very lie I am uncovering to you here. But if this is too much for you, stop reading. You are not ready to receive this revelation.  For the rest of you, you will soon find the answer you have been searching for.

How Do I Get Over My Divorce? Feeling Worthy Of Success After Marriage Failure

HOW WILL I EVER SURVIVE THIS? IT FEELS LIKE HELL!

HOW WILL I MAKE A LIVING NOW?

CAN I CREATE SUCCESS NOW THAT I FAILED IN MARRIAGE?

WHAT ABOUT  WORK AND MY BUSINESS?  WILL THIS FAILURE INHIBIT ME FROM SUCCESS IN OTHER AREAS?

I am one of many recovering from wounds of a failed marriage. I remember it as clear as day, ‘it’s over, I want a divorce!’ When those words came that Thanksgiving morning, my confidence was completely shattered. For almost 4 yrs., I’ve gone in and out of depression, desperation, and loneliness. But I am also a seeker of revelation knowledge and personal development. If it weren’t for support from others, their confidence in me, and their uniting with me, I may have stayed in the hole forever. I believe that healing is necessary before real strides in personal development can be made. The biggest challenge a personal developer will face is helping those who are wounded see themselves as worthy of success.

Some days, early on, I’d lie in bed in “fear”.

LONLINESS WAS AN EVERYDAY SYMPTOM

Abandoned, rejected, and other “sick” feelings and beliefs were common in my perception. I had no idea of the mess my thinking was in.  “Our perception is based on our belief.” The roots of belief about who we are go deep. E.g. The I am a worm perception has it’s roots in a belief that we are not worthy of honor, respect and success.

“Grace” is one explanation of how as if by a miracle, we suddenly understand that we believed a lie about ourselves.  I believe it’s the prayers or “beliefs” of those who are “for us”, that produces that “grace”.  Many have had that grandmother who always prayed for her family. Perhaps her good thoughts directed toward her future generations had a positive effect.

Negative circumstances can occur with support, confidence and unity as well. Confidence in illness, disease, poverty, manifest as a result. One example is when disease is passed down to generations.  We’ve all heard, ‘my family has heart problems, so I guess I will have them too’.  Could that belief manifest heart problems in that person? Absolutely!  What you put confidence in will manifest, whether positive or negative.

HOW DO I EXPLAIN THIS TO THE KIDS? I'LL JUST WORK TILL I DROP!

SOMEONE MUST BELIEVE IN YOUR SUCCESS EVEN IF IT’S JUST YOU!

This is where personal development begins. Without a positive healed mindset, it’s difficult to sustain success. It’s not impossible, but less likely. With an impoverished mindset, the mental game has you sinking in sand. Sadly, you don’t know it.  Getting to truth requires changed beliefs about who you are but will place you on a firm foundation.

What we perceive is based on what we believe about who we are. Personal development begins when we get help navigating to the truth and belief that we are honorable, respectable and worthy to have success in our life. Wealthy people have expectations and believe they deserve the best. They usually get it. The only mindset difference between poverty and wealth is belief.

THE ROAD TO RECOVERY BEGINS WITH PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

I am one who has learned to overcome a poor mindset. I’ve learned to abandon the lies and gain the knowledge of the truth. If it weren’t for support from others, their confidence in me, and their uniting with me, I may have stayed in the hole forever.  Helping an impoverished thinker see the possibilities is the greatest challenge a personal development coach may face. It may well be the most satisfying he’ll experience. When a person he coaches finally sees themselves as worthy of success, the sky’s the limit.
