“Who Are You Now?” The “Gutsy” Mindset And Bitter Truth About Marketing Online Stuff

What the heck did he mean, “Who are you NOW?”

One evening at dinner with my business coach, he asked me to identify myself by this:“who are you NOW”? I told him all about who I was connecting with and how great it was going. I felt that my online presence was growing and I was becoming an authority and able to share my content better on social networking sites.   The bottom line reality was wrapped up in this startling question which tugged at my financial reality: “Who are you NOW” regarding your finances?

Wow, we were heading into the restaurant about then and I was torn between my ideologies, my visions of grandeur and the reality that my car died, my house needed to be sold in order to collect alimony, and my near front tooth had to be extracted, leaving my smile to a retainer until I could afford a more permanent solution. Surely, I was not the shining star of the internet at this point! My balloon had burst! And so what would become of my positive mindset?

Who Are You Now? The Online Stuff

All this online stuff is great because I love to write! So sharing is easy for me. But when it comes to my personal successes, I am humbled by the success stories of the many online individuals marketing themselves so beautifully in social media. I am fortunate to have networked and connected with who I consider pretty powerful and influencial individuals who are in the personal development and online marketing niches.

The real question I believe I was asking was “What have I to do with all these successful individuals?” Yes, I felt comfortable talking to them on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube, Netdivvy, and other sites. But I have yet to experience the “financial” success they have gained through years of online and network marketing and MLM’s.

What kind of mindset must we have to see the success of others and forge ahead instead of feeling intimidated or disillusioned and giving up?

Who Are You NOW? The Money Stuff

For a marketer online, the truth is, you must be authentic so you can find “like minded ” individuals you CAN identify with, those who have similar experience as you, so you don’t feel too insecure about where you are at so far. When my coach asked me that question, “who are you now?”, he was asking me to look at my present circumstances and realistically take stock of my financial accomplishments.

Who Are You NOW? The Gutsy Mindset Stuff

The present circumstances were grim. But I don’t believe that the future is grim! I have many success stories that are tied to no money whatsoever… but tied to a seed well planted and watered..

Someday you will realize your financial goals if we don’t give up! If you take stock today, ask yourself “Who are you NOW?” and listen for the answer.

“Personal Power” And Relationships – How Do I Get “Personal Power” Into My Life?

PERSONAL POWER IN LIFE

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO RECONDITION YOUR MIND?

Hi My name is Caryn Elizabeth and I want you to know that you can keep a positive attitude using your personal power in both your business and personal relationships. You can change your life when you know the secrets of reconditioning those negative beliefs to create a more positive mindset.

Personal Power Mindset

We all use our minds to perform actions daily, some positive and some negative. We have 2 perspectives generally and move away from pain and move toward pleasure or the lesser painful choice. While entering into a choice, if we are conditioned to see it as painful, we will sabotage our success. If we have a painful mindset about the experiences it is causing regression in our life of personal power.

Relationships are an area where one can be conditioned towards pain or pleasure. Even our relationship with God can be painful . Some people have a negative attitude about God and avoid religion because of a negative conditioned view and it can be painful and therefore avoided all together. If you have a negative attitude about God, we are missing a part of our life, the life in the spirit.

Commercials marketing us have conditioned our minds get use to thinking a certain way about a product. Catchy tunes are unforgettable and become “truth” to us. But we can recondition our minds toward the positive if the things we are conditioned towards do not serve our potential positive destiny.

Personal Power  Emotions

We can begin to shift the positive emotions we may have during a football game and use those emotions to begin associating a positive feeling about something we have perceived as a negative.

If we want a positive destiny and make a difference in people lives, reconditioning our negative mindset is the best investment we can make in ourselves. Does the negative mindset serve you? Of course not.

 Personal Power Homework

I suggest you pick 3 areas where you have positive mindset and choose 3 areas you have a negative attitude about. Realize that if we have 2 painful choices, we will always choose the lesser of the 2.

We have the personal power to recondition our thinking and we can have a positive attitude about God as well. God’s given us a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. We can recondition the negative mindset about God and unblock your spirit life to live more sound in God.

Your life is important and you can make an impact for others by example or by teaching. Be inspired! Be motivated  to do something that replaces boredom. Invest in yourself. You are very valuable. You can make the difference in one persons’ life which could affect thousands.

Spirituality Encouraging Word for March 10, 2011

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 3/10/11:

Beloved, you are on a firm foundation, which is Christ the Rock. I tell you the truth, you cannot build and tear down at the same time. I have called you to build with the Word, with your own words of truth, with faith and in obedience. Build the kingdom with integrity and diligence by the power of My Spirit, and refuse to tear down through operating in the works of the flesh. Arise and build, says the Lord.

1 Corinthians 3:11-15 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

“Playing Big” Method | Playing To Win Video Newsletter

Dear Fellow Entrepreneurs,

I’m getting creative here with this newsletter and decided that you deserve something different.  I wrote an article recently on Playing BIG. It’s a concept business coaches have tapped into to help facilitate the creative efforts of others towards the goal of success in business.

When I was teaching Montessori to preschool students, I implemented this  natural method in order to get the kids to perform at their peak level. “Fun” was the driving factor that kept them interested and attentive.

So what happens when we grow up? I  homeschooled my children from  beginning to end. Fortunately because I knew this method,  I was able to use this “fun” technique to  quicken their creativity towards advancement , ease and satisfaction in learning.

When they reached the high school years however, I noticed other parents putting their kids into college classes, having them take AP classes with the intend to getting them college credit and creating a good looking transcript. I placed my oldest daughter in one online AP class and it was a disaster. Having been trained to be an entrepreneur, my daughter resisted the heavy load of homework and projects.

The class became a hindrance to her creative energy.  Scoring a 2 on the AP test,  I learned that one will learn best when it’s something you WANT to learn it or because its presented in a creative way.

The Playing Big coaching method does just that. As adults  learning new strategies for career or business success, playing BIG means you must be willing and able to step up and stand out! You take the risk of being seen and known for who you really are and then boldly share with colleagues and customers this value. Being clear about your value to others, one must live true to their purpose in the world. It’s challenging, interesting and exciting at the same time.

We are all born with the ability and desire to play and any effort in life can be played as a game with the knowledge that you can win. This method is called Play-Two-Win because a coach only wins when the player wins and a player only wins when his team wins; a very excellent position to take for any MLM, network marketing, direct sales or other types of business success. This becomes another point of attraction because people love to play on this kind of team when they know the leadership is planning to play BIG for the team to win also.

Keep this in mind when you are leading others. A simple example of using this method in business is presenting strategies and tools with the idea that someone can WIN them for free. Another is to encourage them to get them “first”. This initiates the competitive spirit innate in every human.  By tapping into the creative energy that naturally stimulates your prospects, business partners and team, you will not only have a happy team but your team will learn much more quickly the strategies you are teaching them.

Are you the leader to help others to PLAY BIG? Prove it!!!!!

Go out and make today the best day yet!

Ps. Because you are here, I want to have a bit of fun with you. I would like to tickle you a bit! Today’s  tickle is a quick little video presented by my good friend Dale Werner, on Creating Great Headlines.

Enjoy it and remember that PLAYING BIG is best!

WE ARE ALL STILL KIDS AT HEART!

Physical Health And Habits That Help

Tips and strategies on how to live a healthy abundant lifestyle.

7 Habits to Ensure You’re Being Efficient

With increased concern about the environment efficiency seems to be the new word and being energy efficient, with the ecology minded.

But what about our own ability to be efficient both at home and at work? What does being efficient mean to you?

Efficiency is defined as ‘the state or quality of being efficient; competency in performance or the accomplishment of or ability to accomplish a job with a minimum expenditure of time and effort.’

Make sure you own time and not the other way around. This article and the ensuing tips are not about striving for perfection, but instead about allowing yourself the opportunity to make better use of your time throughout the day.

Organizing and simplifying your life are important steps to be taken in order to be the most efficient you can be. A well organized office space or home will help you stay efficient.

Above all, when thinking about increasing your efficiency rate, remember to take care of yourself. Good food, plenty of rest, lots of water, and exercise will allow you to function at your best.

1. Schedule your day: Either at the beginning of each day or the night before, plan out each day. You are only one person and you probably won’t be able to do everything. Use a schedule to organize your day into time blocks. Write out a daily to-do list (electronic or in a notebook) and prioritize items by importance.

Remember, only schedule around 70 percent of your day. The other 30 percent will be filled with interruptions, travel time between appointments and errands, and sometimes emergencies.

2. Prioritize-Prioritize-Prioritize: List to-do items by order of importance and label each item by importance and urgency. Make items that are extremely important stand out by marking them with red ink, a highlighter, or a star. Only focus on a limited number of actions per day.

3. Multi-task small projects and details: Although multi- tasking does not work for everyone or every project, tasks like cooking supper while talking on the phone or ironing while listening to a motivational CD can be effective. Try reading a book on the subway or bus, or a book on tape while driving to and from work. It’s more efficient and a good use of time to do simple tasks simultaneously.

4. Say NO more often: Recognize what your priorities are. If someone requests something of you that you are unable to do comfortably or does not fit into your priorities, ‘just say no.’

5. Delegate as much as possible: You can’t do everything alone. Allow others around you to help out. Allow friends, family, co-workers, your partner or your children to assist around the house and/or office. Many people find this difficult because they feel they are the only one who can do it right. Start off with small steps. Don’t hand over an entire project, but instead a step that will save you time and energy. Make sure you remember to thank these people appropriately.

6. Organize: The more things that are organized both within the home and work environment, the faster work will get finished and the higher quality your work will be. Make lists for yourself and others. Create inboxes and action files.

7. Control your procrastination: Many of us are procrastinators at heart, although for various reasons. One common phrase used to help combat procrastination is ‘do the worst thing first.’ At the beginning of each day, do the one item that stands out the most on your to-do list, or your most dreaded item. Set daily goals for yourself and plan lots of rewards.
