Today I received a message and YouTube Video from my excellent friend Eddie Zanchi.

Because we are both believers in Christ, I recognized that Eddie Zanchi lived by the very ideals and personal development strategies  I have been sharing with you these last years.  This video from Herois da Guitarra Contest 2011 in which Eddie plays lead guitar over a background track called Prodigy, is an example of what  those ideals look like when lived out with a guitar, a talent, good character, and a heart to serve others.  This is what God can do when you live for Him.

Eddie Zanchi Lives Beyond His Circumstances

Both Eddie and I have had a life that while living in circumstances beyond our immediate control, we continue to believe that we have greatness within us.  We both came to believe that we were brother and sister, though we lived miles apart. Eddie Zanchi lives in São Paulo, Brazil . while I lived in Pennsylvania, USA.  He is the son of a beautiful woman whom Eddie speaks very highly of.  It seems like every time I connected with Eddie he was busy teaching guitar lessons. Eddie has been gifted with an excellent mentor and actually had a very expensive guitar made for him.

Eddie has been known to go up his hill to pray for God’s direction. I on the other hand, have been known to go down my hill to the waterfall, where I’ve shared how God has spoken to me many times as well.  Eddie encouraged me to go there more often and I’m grateful for that!

“Can You Trust Your Conscience?” | Personal Development

People all over this world in regardless of what industry they are in, are looking for the secrets for successful living.  In this part two of ‘Where do you place your confidence?’, I want to continue to share the first of seven secrets for success. Is it possible that our conscience is condemning us even though we walk in truth? In this chapter, I will reveal a secret that only those who diligently seek, will find here in these pages.

The truth cannot lie.

There is a secret found in the Word that can cause a shift in your mindset that could be the difference between failure and success in your life, your business, your family, and whatever else you are involved in.  Multitudes of people have bought the lie that has kept them in bondage for decades. But that lie is being exposed right now. There is a force reminding us daily that we are not worthy, or good enough to deserve success. For some of us who don’t know this is happening, it can arouse our soulish imagination and keep us believing lies.

Like our laptop, built to be programmed, so is our “spirit”, our core, born to receive software. Past programming, can cause our “spirit” to crash from time to time, if there are server or other conflicts. We know our past experiences serve as a great platform for creating conflict with our personal development techniques and strategies. This is where most crashes occur. So where does this manifest in us? It occurs in our conscience. This is the emotional area of us that reveals what the core or spirit believes. In fact the Word of God for example says that our conscience can condemn us. This is where the rubber meets the road.

Is your conscience condemning you?

The Word says if we’re walking in the truth, we are in union with God and He with us. We also gain access to the Holy Spirit, our supernatural power source, who is like the most cutting edge spyware package programmed in us too. Again, some may not buy this. Buy the Holy Spirit is an added bonus for those who received Jesus salvation package. You guys know about added bonuses right? Lol !

So let’s continue!

Considering all this, it is clear that we may be believing things that we need to admit. Jonathan Budd and others have spoken about getting to the root of an issue. Expose it. Like a virus, we need to get rid of it! Taking all this into consideration, could your conscience be condemning you? If so, it’s lying to you. In today’s society it common to hear about the positive impact affirmations have on those who say them. I urge you to consider reading the following affirmation out loud. It may be the thing that changes your mindset for good.  For some of you, reword it with something similar if you want to satisfy your own belief system.

Say this now: ‘In the name of Jesus, I bind the spirit of condemnation and it’s lie that I am not worthy to be successful in my life. Jesus, my conscience has lied to me.  Take that lie to hell where it belongs. I tell my conscience the truth that I walk in love and obey God’s commands.’
Be reminded of this; If your conscience does not condemn you, you walk in peace with God. Now you can be confident again. You are more than a conqueror. You are victorious even in this! Where Do You Place Your Confidence? |Personal Development

People all over this world seek strategies for success. Some seek “The Why” to find a deeper connection that will sustain them through the ups and downs of business. Others ask more profound questions like,  Why am I alive? Does my life matter? What is this all for?  Still more read books to help them find definitive answers. Some look to ancient teachings that have stood the test of time. Others look to science to define the truth. For the sake of this article I will use a portion of the Holy Bible to help shed some light on an idea that I think is vital for us in order to become successful in life. I want to tell you a secret I discovered about your conscience.
Please open up your minds to this so that you may discover this secret truth about your conscience. Whatever you call God here, it’s fine with me. Try to understand the concept here.  I read 1st John 3:11-24 and verse 18 popped out. It says, ‘my children, our love should not be just words and talk. It must be true love, which shows itself in action.’  It goes on to say, ‘This then is how we will know that we belong to the truth; this is how we will be confident in God’s presence.’


Love is an action. That’s easy to understand right?

Then it says, ‘if our conscience condemns us, we know that God is greater than our conscience and that He knows everything. Wow, those words made all the difference to me. I received this word as truth that my conscience may not know the truth. This is where the shift must start.  If our conscience doesn’t condemn us, we have courage in God’s presence. Do you see that? Do you see that it’s possible that your conscience may believe a lie.

What lie is it you may ask?

Okay for this next part, you may not buy the fact that there is a force pressing against us that we need to press through in order to overcome and get to the truth but bare with me here. Of course, this force can remind us that we are not worthy and arouse our soulish imagination to keep us in that lie. But if we choose to believe the truth, we will know better because we just read it here.

God would prefer us stand in the truth. This is our firm foundation. I have spoken of this foundation that leaders stand on.  We walk in truth as we love in action, not just in words. If you hate your brother or anyone, then you really can’t say that you walk in love. You may want to go back and read the verses again and see what you have to do to fix that. But if you can say that you walk in love then read on. Just remember that love is not just words spoken, but action. This includes the actions we take to love ourselves.

But this is not the end of it. It’s not the love part that keeps us from success. It’s what our conscience is programmed to tell us.

Due to past programming by all manner of negativity, this force would prefer us feel we could ask for anything but not expect to receive it. But the Word is clear here. If we walk in love, ‘we receive what we ask because we obey His commands and do what pleases God.’ Ok, according to the  Bible, it says, ‘What pleases Him is that we believe in the truth of Jesus and love one another.’ Here is where some of you may differ in your beliefs and I respect that. If you feel condemnation right now, you could be a victim of the very lie I am uncovering to you here. But if this is too much for you, stop reading. You are not ready to receive this revelation.  For the rest of you, you will soon find the answer you have been searching for.

Value And Belief Awareness – Personal Power While Asking Quality Questions

As part of my own personal development journey, I began to see the need for advanced methods of becoming all I could be. I happened upon a Tony Robbins teaching called Personal Power 2. In it I discovered that I was asking myself questions that could be sabotaging my personal and business success. In this article I want to tell you what and why this teaching is vital to become all you can be and perhaps we can journey together as happy people.

Values And Beliefs Revealed

The following questions hold the hidden  values and beliefs of the questioner. When you read them, think about what you sense it is. “What must I do to show respect to others? “ “What can I do to get the respect I desire”? The root perception is “how do I receive pleasure and avoid pain”? We all at the heart level gravitate toward pleasure and away from pain. Based on the value we place on each belief about our values, we will either love, tolerate dislike or hate things others say or do.

 Values And Beliefs Perceived

Below is a list of some of the common values people perceive while having different hierarchy standards.

The value of success

The value of honesty

The value of respect

The value of kindness

The value of love

The value of integrity

The value of loyalty

Values And Beliefs For Pleasure

I believe that our search for like minded people in our personal life or for our business success, is due to the desire for pleasure. If I have a problem with something someone said, I will think about who I can call who will agree with my view so I will feel the pleasure I desire. I will not call, read or desire to know those who I feel contribute to a feeling of pain.

Some adults actually move far away from their family to avoid the pain caused by beliefs that conflict. I know people whose parents die and they feel nothing. They don’t grieve. In fact, they feel relief and free of the bondage that person felt in that relationship. Disagreement of beliefs is the cause of divorce, business breakups, family distance and differences in corporate workplace.

 Values And Beliefs Control

Many find working from home, owning their own businesses as a way to keep the feelings of pleasure on the increase. I believe parents chose to home-school their children rather than have them be subjected to the pain of differing values and beliefs in the public education system. Anywhere where groups gather, there will be differing beliefs and even churches split because of this.

With this in mind, knowing that some things can’t be avoided, what can a person do to keep a feeling of pleasure while working with others who seem to rub them the wrong way? I experienced a boss who I felt harassed me time and time again and finally had to leave due to what I felt was a negative environment. Why could others stay and tolerate it and I couldn’t? I have asked myself this many times. The only conclusion was “a difference in values”.

Values And Beliefs About Money

I feel that loving others is more important than making money. I want to make money but when it’s more painful to stay to get compensation then I’m willing to tolerate, then I leave. Honor is a value that is high on my agenda. I will stay and honor a person’s opinion unless I don’t feel loved by that person. So love is a greater value to me than honor. In marriage, if I feel loved, the pleasure of it will keep me moving forward in that marriage. But if I didn’t feel loved, the pain of it caused depression. Though I would tolerate it for the benefit of loving my children, by staying, my x spouse had a lower pain threshold as he valued his freedom more than love. Does that make sense?

 Values And Beliefs Awareness

Being aware of these values and beliefs is the first step to help communicate them to our close friends and family.

Tony Robbins Personal Power 2 is a series of teachings that can help you become aware of your personal power and how you can gain control over your emotions. Being aware of your values and beliefs , you can choose to live in more pleasure by controlling your emotional state instead of allowing the differences of others to cause you pain. After all, we have to live in this world with others. If we can create our state of emotional awareness and power, we will be the leaders and controllers of our life and this will help us achieve the pleasure and success we desire.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO RECONDITION YOUR MIND?

 

Hi My name is Caryn Elizabeth and I want you to know that you can keep a positive attitude using your personal power in both your business and personal relationships. You can change your life when you know the secrets of reconditioning those negative beliefs to create a more positive mindset.

Personal Power Mindset

We all use our minds to perform actions daily, some positive and some negative. We have 2 perspectives generally and move away from pain and move toward pleasure or the lesser painful choice. While entering into a choice, if we are conditioned to see it as painful, we will sabotage our success. If we have a painful mindset about the experiences it is causing regression in our life of personal power.

Relationships are an area where one can be conditioned towards pain or pleasure. Even our relationship with God can be painful . Some people have a negative attitude about God and avoid religion because of a negative conditioned view and it can be painful and therefore avoided all together. If you have a negative attitude about God, we are missing a part of our life, the life in the spirit.

Commercials marketing us have conditioned our minds get use to thinking a certain way about a product. Catchy tunes are unforgettable and become “truth” to us. But we can recondition our minds toward the positive if the things we are conditioned towards do not serve our potential positive destiny.

Personal Power  Emotions 

We can begin to shift the positive emotions we may have during a football game and use those emotions to begin associating a positive feeling about something we have perceived as a negative.

If we want a positive destiny and make a difference in people lives, reconditioning our negative mindset is the best investment we can make in ourselves. Does the negative mindset serve you? Of course not.

 Personal Power Homework

I suggest you pick 3 areas where you have positive mindset and choose 3 areas you have a negative attitude about. Realize that if we have 2 painful choices, we will always choose the lesser of the 2.

We have the personal power to recondition our thinking and we can have a positive attitude about God as well. God’s given us a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. We can recondition the negative mindset about God and unblock your spirit life to live more sound in God.

Your life is important and you can make an impact for others by example or by teaching. Be inspired! Be motivated  to do something that replaces boredom. Invest in yourself. You are very valuable. You can make the difference in one persons’ life which could affect thousands.

The shiny object syndrome took over when I became bored with what I was doing. Sometimes it just didn’t resonate. Other times the cost became prohibitive. Can you relate?

I’m not the better business bureau but when my boyfriend decided to join a direct sales company, after I told him I was through with them, I decided I’d better go check out what he’d gotten himself into. When I arrived at the meeting, I realized that these people were really nice. There demeanor was very low key. Cool! I thought! No hype! NICE!

So do I join because he was in? It became apparent that since he’d never been in network marketing before, I’d better show him the ropes! haha Granted he’s been in sales for 10 years but many have found out that sometimes we must unlearn that sales training. I decided to join and found 11 customers rather quickly. The system is set up to be very simple. “Ask for a favor!” What could be difficult about that? Well, are you surprised that some people don’t have such rapport with others? So I had to find some advanced training so that I could happily teach the leadership principles a new team with little network marketing experience would need. What’s my boyfriend doing now? I’ll leave that up to him to tell you! I am building a team. I’m going slow because I’m retraining brains and that takes time. With videos and audios that correct bad habits, I’m setting up my team for success.

The worst thing I experienced in my life came after I awakened from finality of divorce. My freight train brain would keep me hindered and I would grasp at anything ; prayer, other people opinions or just  denial in order  to cope.

I literally would sit for 3+ hours at a time overcome with depression not knowing that I was depressed. It was a downward spiral and the only thing that would break the cycle was mind exhaustion or an environmental need that forced me to change my physical state. I would take the 45 minute drive to church on Sundays. One day my pastor’s dad approached me, seeing my need, and offered to “mentor me”. He was not going to charge me. He said “I don’t want anything from you. I’m just interested in your success, that’s all.” Do you know what that meant to me? I thought to myself, “am I so special?” What does he see in me to offer this kind of help?” After I said “yes, thank you”, He gave me assignments and we got together monthly or bi monthly to discuss my progress. We did this for one year and I sent him quarterly reports of my progress. Though he helped me create specific goals, his “supportive words” were probably the most helpful thing he could have offered. I progressed in many areas.

I later discovered that having a mentor was essential to my progress. It was the best decision I made.

Who is Simone Segal?

Simone Segal is a poet living in Spain. She writes poetry that speaks to the heart of every entrepreneur. If you are in personal development, you will enjoy Simone’s poetry.

Because I have been into developing my mind, will, emotions, body and spirit for many years now, I have attracted many things and people into my life. Being online has opened up doors that nothing else can do. Offline, it’s so much slower to connect with like minded people. Online, I have met so many wonderful people.. too many to mention here.. truly!

While on skype recently, and after a long day of blogging, fixing, creating videos, seo’ing, and networking, I called on my friend Tom Bice, a pastor entrepreneur in Texas. I was hoping to connect him with a friend who I felt in my heart desperately needed a mentor. Tom is a wonderful person, who considers me a mentor to him. Funny how this works in the industry. We mentor and encourage each other from time to time.

So Tom answered his skype phone and their began his story of having chatted on facebook that day for 3 hrs with Simone Segal. Interesting how we meet each other on social media. So he had such conviction that this beautiful hearted woman had the gift of poetry that he knew would be a gift to the entrepreneural community, he directed me to facebook. I friended her and there began my journey into “Simone Segal world of Presence Poetry”.

One thing lead to the other and before I knew it, I recorded an audio of “The Gift” a poem she blessed me with on my facebook wall. I sent it to Tom who asked if I’d put music behind it. Upon his advice, I took off finding just the right music. After my fumbling, which I do from software to software, the audio with music was complete.

This is the beginning of something beautiful. I can feel it. Whenever I read her poems, they resonate with me in my heart. They make me happy. Presence poetry is a term I coined because it takes you to the “present” moment.. everything else stops if you choose to truly listen. As an entrepreneur, I’m sure you would agree that networking with like minded people makes this industry worth the work we put into it. There is nothing better than a quality conversation with someone you admire.

“The Gift” is a poem of quality. It is as if you met a like minded friend. Simone’s gift is just beginning to change the world. Who knows what rippling affect this woman’s words will have on the masses? Let’s believe well for her, shall we?

THE GIFT is the answer of a bright new dawn
The law of attraction in poetry form
These poems guide you to a life of success
They are simple instructions, one can easily digest

I live by the law and my life is so sweet
I would love to share this inspirational treat
What I think about I bring about, It’s incredibly true
It’s all in the THE GIFT about dreams that come true

We all need hope, and now is the time
The key to success, a changing of minds
When you take this on trust, what you are about to read
It will show you how, in life to succeed.

The theory has been around for thousands of years
But been kept a secret, so it appears
Now it’s out, of this there is no doubt
I would like to tell you what it’s all about.

What you are thinking, and how you feel
Is creating your future, It’s called the law of attraction
And on this subject, I have been very well tutored
Life seems to be full of highs and lows

We all need a shield for the knocks and the blows
Controlled thoughts, and controlled feelings
Will grant you your wishes, and all you are dreaming.

Nothing comes easy, like learning to drive
But when you have mastered it well, your spirits alive
Nothing can stop you; you’re well on your way
Confidence takes over, it’s a brighter day

The same on this subject, in which that I write
For when you have mastered the concept
Your goals are in sight, you become what you think about
Sounds crazy but true, It’s all in the poems

Written solely for you.
Read the rhymes, over and over
THE GIFT will be your 4 leaf clover
We all have the power, we all can succeed
